The Triage Phone Volunteer position involves supporting our Triage team at Mel Trotter by establishing a welcoming atmosphere for individuals contacting us via phone and, assisting them in identifying the services they require.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering calls and engaging with callers in a personable manner
- Directing callers to the appropriate individual or department (a list of extensions will be provided)
- Recording messages and forwarding them to the appropriate recipient
- Managing voicemails effectively
- Facilitating clear and efficient communication with various departments within Mel Trotter
Training for phone duties will be provided to volunteers.”
