Working With Guests

With Guests means you can volunteer in a variety of needs that will have you working directly with the guests at Mel Trotter Ministries. These volunteer roles are an integral part of our ministry, allowing you engage with guests in various ways throughout the Mission. Every volunteer role is an opportunity to minister to our guests, right where they are.

With Guests Volunteer Roles include:

• Art Class Assistant - help our guests explore their artistic abilities through art therapy
• Chapel
• Heartside Ministry Day Center Helper - work alongside our Triage Team to serve the guests in the Day Center
• Food Services (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and other roles to help in the kitchen)
• Friendship Circles - Men's, Women's, and Spanish-speaking
• Karaoke - join in the fun as our guests (and some staff) sing along to their favorite songs!
• Outreach - join our Outreach Team at various shower trailer locations throughout the city
