Packing Sack lunches and listening event.
We are putting together a few listening sessions for parents who are connected to Mel Trotter and have a desire to pass on their faith and values to their children. We sense that Mel Trotter is a place where many Christian volunteers put their faith into action. We want to hear how your service at Mel Trotter shapes spiritual conversations with your kids. How can we leverage your faith-in-action to shape the next generation? Are there ways we can better equip you as parents to transfer your faith and values to your kids. These sessions will help us as we write a grant proposal to fund new models for parents to facilitate faith development in their children.
We are only doing a few listening sessions in January. Each will be with a small group of parents because we want to listen deeply. We hope they will be rich conversations because they will shape part of strategy for years to come. These are a big deal to us!
While parents are participating in the listening session children will be helping to pack lunches on the opposite side of the cafeteria.
