Volunteers for Tuesday Food Prep will help prepare the Thanksgiving meal two days before Thanksgiving, on Tuesday, November 25, from 9:00 am-12 pm. Food Prep Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Volunteers for Tuesday Food Prep will help prepare the Thanksgiving meal two days before Thanksgiving, on Tuesday, November 25, from 2 pm-5pm at Mel Trotter. Food Prep Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Volunteers will be helping hand out coats and mittens to guests at the meal on Thanksgiving Day.  Volunteers will also help guests to the exit after receiving a coat and mittens, and also stay to help clean up after the Coat Give Away has ended. Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

The Beverage Room Helper prepares coffee and water for the Thanksgiving Community Meal. Volunteers will continuously fill water and coffee dispensers as needed for the Kitchen Runners and Kitchen Team Leaders. Beverage Room Helper volunteers must be 18 years or older.

The Beverage Runner is responsible for ensuring that beverages are brought to the tables in their assigned section. They will get the beverages from their assigned section door at the kitchen and bring them back to the tables. Beverage Runner volunteers must by 14 years or older.

Coat Check volunteers must be at least 14 years or older. Younger children may not accompany you in the Coat Check room.

Kitchen Runners will move food from the kitchen to the appropriate places in their assigned section as designated by the Kitchen Traffic Directors. They will also ensure specific food items are full in the hot line. Kitchen Runner volunteers must be 18 years or older. **Please note that this role is very active and may require some lifting.

The Kitchen Team Leader is responsible for providing food boxes & beverages to Table Host Runners in their assigned section. The Kitchen Team Leader will also provide refills on specific items from the hot line. The Kitchen Team Leader is stationed at their assigned door at all times and relies on the Kitchen Runner and/or Kitchen Traffic Directors to ensure they have the food needed. Kitchen Team Leader volunteers must be 18 years or older.

The Kitchen Traffic Directors help direct kitchen traffic, are a liaison between the Kitchen Team Leaders and the Food Prep Team, and a resource for all those working in the kitchen area. Kitchen Traffic Directors must be 18 years or older

This position requires you to be relational and conversational. You will sit with guests and share a meal.

There needs to be at least two hosts for every table, aged 14 or older. This allows for there to always be a host at a table while the other host retrieves food and beverage needs from the appointed area.

Hosts must be 14 years old or older to serve.  Hosts between 14 and 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult.  Younger children may accompany you, but should not handle any food or beverage. 

Good news! To make things easier, only one family member needs to register, and that will cover everyone in your household. We hope this makes the process simple and stress-free for you!

We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help with deep cleaning our mobile shower trailers once each quarter. This essential task ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for those we serve.

We're seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to teach weekly classes for a 6-week program aimed at empowering individuals with essential life and wellness skills. Each class meets once a week and focuses on personal growth, creativity, or practical living.

We are currently looking for volunteer instructors for the following classes:

Boundaries & Safe Relationships – Help participants build healthy interpersonal skills and understand emotional and physical boundaries.

Home Economics / Basic Life Skills – budgeting, laundry, meal planning, and other everyday life essentials.

Values & Triggers – Guide conversations around self-awareness, emotional regulation, and identifying core personal values.

Yoga or Chair Yoga – Lead relaxing and accessible sessions that support mental and physical well-being.

Cleaning & Organization – Share strategies for maintaining clean and functional living spaces.

Art Class – Encourage creativity and self-expression through various artistic mediums.

Time Commitment: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks (plus any prep time)

No formal teaching experience required—just a willingness to share your knowledge, show up consistently, and connect with others.
