Volunteer: AARP Hours

We are seeking a dedicated AARP volunteer to work alongside our mission staff to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for those we serve. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, enjoys working as part of a team, and is passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities:

Assist staff with daily cleaning tasks throughout the mission facility

Support with organizing supplies and light janitorial duties

Help maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and kitchen spaces

Follow safety and sanitation protocols

Collaborate with staff to identify areas that need attention

Qualifications:

Must be an AARP-eligible volunteer (50+)

We're looking for a volunteer to help sort and organize the donation area from November 15 to March 1. Tasks include arranging donated items, maintaining a clean and orderly space, and ensuring everything is properly labeled and accessible.

Gloves will be provided by Mel Trotter.

Best suited for high school students (with chaperones) or adult volunteers.
